The Magnetic Fields - Luckiest Guy On The Lower East Side

I spent a fair bit of time yesterday selecting songs for my Canberra playlist and ended up with 136 songs spanning 7.9 hours. I hope I don't get to listen to all of them :-)

Better cull it rather than tempt fate I think.

This song will definitely make the cut. Its my favourite
Magnetic Fields song. This isn't the 'official' music vid, but it sure is cute.

Cool song Tesso

That should come somewhere in the first 10K as you might be going a bit fast then and that is just laid back enough to slow you down a bit.

Lower east side of lake burley griffin? 7.9hrs that sounds about the 70k race.

Looks like you've got the whole spectrum of sound. Magnetic fields should put you in the right direction.

Good luck for Canberra.

Make sure you start with the slower songs and keep away from the over the top inspirational ones around 30k to avoid ripping the damn thing off and tossing in the lake. "I'll show you ... @#$#@ .... tell me to $?@#! never give up ... you $%$# thing, take that!"........ *splosh* .... "oops!"

Are you sure that you want to play a song that has the line "I've got wheels" during a race? Might make you a bit jealous!

All the best for the race Tesso, sounds like it's all going well (especially if the play list is already organised)!

I know nothing about songs and music your refer to - I am afraid I am time warped in the 60's and 70's - no doubt a bit before your time. I keep saying to my daughter - all the fashions of that that period are coming back and I say so will the music!!!
