Cirque asked what was the verdict on the songs you chose for Caboolture? How did the 'request' section go?
All the music was great, what a way to spend 12 hours! I actually had too much music and ran out of time to listen to everything I wanted to. I really liked the request section, with everything from Mozart to Ramstein, it was never monotonous. I could remember who requested most of them too .... including ZZ Top ;-)

This morning Pat sent us off on an extra long warm-up, via the Vic Bridge up to the end of The Gardens and then back down to the Goodwill Bridge where we'd be starting our 5 minute efforts. For once I was a the front of the first pack warming up, running with Tori and Jan. Phil soon caught up and either the other girls slowed a little or we picked up the pace. Then we were joined by Mark 3, this time the pace did pick up, even the guys were complaining!

For our 5 minute efforts instead of the usual main path through The Gardens Pat got us to run up the back path. This was great, there was very little pedestrian traffic. And not a snappy cyclist in sight ;-) Though it did mean a few little uphills on the way out, which equated to nice little downhills on the way back :-)

Coming down the hill at the end of the second effort I wondered what Pat would have in store for us next, I was guessing maybe a minute out and a minute back. I'd totally forgotten he'd said we were doing Goodwill Bridge reps at the end! And so to the bridge it was, for a good 12 minutes or more.

As always it was a tough session, and though it wasn't too hot it was sooooooo humid this morning. Afterwards everybody was just drenched, you couldn't tell the difference between those who'd jumped in the pool at South Bank during the warmdown and those who hadn't.

The Goodwill Bridge is the grey one in the front.

Maybe you didn't feel so much goodwill towards that bridge by the end of the reps!

Hey Tesso - nice couple of sessions.

Tip for young players number 37 when wearing a Camelbak - use a bit of body glide on the side of your waist too where the waist belt passes over where your love handles would be if you had any ;-)
