Hoodoo Gurus - Miss Freelove 69 (1991)

This one came on my iPod at about the 14k mark of the half marathon yesterday just as I was starting to struggle a little. Its a great running song, and gave me a much needed lift.

And what a cool filmclip!

I remember that song it was a massive hit when I was in Year 7 ;-)

BTW nice running yesterday, the school kids seem to put on a better event than some of the higher profile ones.

Tumbarumba on the B side is good. A surf instrumental. I have the cassette somewhere

I'll have to ask Steve if hot Saki goes down well. Can't remember much about 1969 - I wasn't a teenager yet ;)

I used to go and see them in the Dee Why hotel during the 80s. But wasn't in Australia when this song was a hit so it is the first time to hear it.

A good song for sure. The "Stoneage Romeo" album is one of my favourites.

I just noticed it but doesn't the front man look a bit like our Pat Carroll?
