One Uncrowded Hour

On day shift today (7am start) and so was up and at 'em early to squeeze in a short recovery run before work.

It was still dark when I hit the bike path just after 5am to do the South Bank loop (10k). It was pretty deserted out there, just the odd runner and cyclist. And there wasn't a single car at the Ship Inn, the same time other days that's premium parking space. Wierd. Though I guess Monday is a rest day for many. It wasn't until I was about 3km from home that it seemed other Brissos were finally awake.

I was only travelling around 5:30 pace but after such a big weekend of running and with the humidity at 94% that was plenty fast enough for me.

You rock Tesso. Such amazing stuff when just a week ago we were both in the doldrums about our running.

Your foot is obviously not a bother anymore judging by the distances you are covering - and the speeds!!!

I can't wait to be cheering you on at Canberra to see you do well with all this training.

No pressure now but um 4:15 is a good time :)))))))))))))

Nice title Tesso

Did it come from this?

"One crowded hour of glorious life
Is worth an age without a name"

I love that quote!

keep it up the weather will break colder soon.

We saw Augie March at Womadelaide on Saturday. That was definitely "one crowded hour". Lior was on another stage before that and there was a mass migration from one stage to the other.

Don't let Brendan lead you astray Tess. Ask him about getting lost on his 12' track Saturday, starting in the wee small hours. At least the track is uncrowded at that hour.

Glad to see you travelling well again. Do the long run... Canberra is more important ;)
