Up The Junction

A couple of weeks after Canberra Marathon last year I was hit with a bit of a hamstring problem. Funny (well, not really) a couple of weeks after this years Canberra its happened again, different leg though.

Last year I was able to run through it to a degree and so have been doing the same this time. Then on Monday I thought I'd take the smart option - have a few days off running and do some strengthening exercises etc. Went to PCRG this morn to give it a test drive and it hurt a little during the warmup, so rather than run fast for the 1k reps I just sat on a 'steady' pace. By the end of the second one I was almost limping and had to pull the pin.

Not the best considering its Warwick this weekend.

And I have a cold.

And we lost the State of Origin.

And my blog isn't imbedding what I want it to imbed.

And and and ...

Spelling error sorry!

I am sorry to hear about all those things you mentioned, besides the State of Origin, Go the Blues ;-)

Seriously I really hope it was nothing to be concerned about. It would be a shame to not have you running at your best again for the second year in a row.

Bugger. At least it's imbedded in a different leg. You might have to jog Warwick with Shane.

Don't worry mate - the Cane Toads have come back from 1-nil down before (but they won't this time!).

Cheer up. Computers will be computers, footy teams don't matter and your leg will get better! See, nothing to worry about :-)

Tesso does it again!

I'll be dragging out a Squeeze CD tonight. I may possibly even try to murder the song on guitar.

Cheers,
Ben

All the best with getting the hammy right, and everything else...know the feeling when nothing seems to be working.
I saw a bit of the state of origin on TV but I live in AFL land, and my team Fremantle has lost about 8 out of 9 games this year, so know the feeling this year. Just keep doing the things that need to be done and eventually things will pick up, maybe one of those really smart geeks can help with the blog...
Hope you make it to Warwick.
Enjoy the journey as best you can!

Things certainly look grim Tesso.
Your run of outs may not be over just yet and that light at the end of the tunnel could be a high speed train coming your way.

So take care an know that things will get better in their own time. Queensland will win again, don't know where don't know when but you know they'll win again some sunny day ;)
